Parent Teacher Association
Saltford School has a Parent Teacher Association that organises a wide range of events and activities throughout the year. These include: Christmas and Summer fairs, a ladies night, a quiz night and school discos, which have been enjoyed by many members of the school community.
The funds raised by the PTA make an important contribution to resources which enhance the learning experiences and environment for all our children.
This year Saltford School PTA is raising money towards providing the school with 16 laptops and a trolley that can be used as a mobile computer suite
Following a highly successful trial of the play pod the school was very keen to keep it and the PTA agreed to fund this at a cost of £7,500. The school would like to record a huge "thank you" from the children for their play pod.
Previously, the PTA has contributed £4,000 towards bike sheds, £3,500 for a changing room and £4,300 towards books for the new library.
The school would also like to thank the PTA for their £50 donation to each class in November 09 to allow them to re-stock the class "Golden Time" resources.
All parents of children in the school are automatically members of the PTA and your contribution will be very welcome and most invaluable. We are always looking for volunteers to give us new ideas, and to help and support our organised events throughout the year.
